Camden: 6 Days New || Colorado Newborn Photographer

Camden is Scott and Krista's new son. We also photographed their wedding last summer - it is such an honor to photograph life's special milestones for our clients. I couldn't wait to meet their little man. Camden is such a handsome baby boy, my goodness.

This little guy gave my heater a work out. All newborns like being very warm during their sessions, since they are used to being inside their momma's belly, but this guy seriously loved the heat. Any time he started to fuss, just a little extra heat made him settle right away - it was amazing.

Scott and Krista are major baseball fans, so I knew we had to incorporate a little bit of the sport into Camden's session. I love these images.

Amanda || Colorado Maternity Photographer

I was so excited when Amanda's friend contacted me about purchasing a gift certificate to pay for Amanda's maternity and newborn sessions. It is always such an honor to be a part of such a special gift. I truly believe the gift of photography is one of the best things you can give to an expecting mom. Amanda brought her son Jaden to be a part of her maternity session, and he was just adorable. I have no doubts he will be such a great big brother! Amanda has the perfect little round pregnant belly - it's hard to believe she's only a few weeks away from welcoming her second son into the world! I can't wait to meet the new addition to her family next month!

Gwendolyn: 6 Months Old || Colorado Baby Photographer

It seems like just yesterday we were photographing Gwendolyn's newborn session, but she's already half way to her first birthday! Miss Gwen is a beautiful baby girl and so much fun to photograph.











Her mom always has the most adorable outfits and matching accessories for her. I just love it. Her little feather in her yellow headband with the lace romper is just way too precious!



She was cracking us up with her facial expressions, and I think she thought she was pretty hilarious as well. It totally reminded me of her big brother's 6 month session.



I just love this family and am so happy I get to photograph them so frequently. I already can't wait for Gwen's next session!

Nichole || Colorado Maternity Photographer

This maternity session was very special for me. Nichole and Casey are expecting their first baby this month, who will be my niece! It was such an honor to photograph this special time for the two of them. I am so excited for the Casey and Nichole, and I know they will be wonderful parents. I absolutely cannot wait to meet their little girl soon!

Krista || Colorado Maternity Photographer

Last summer, Scott and I photographed Krista & Scott's wedding at Red Rocks. I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph their sweet family as they await the arrival of their son this year. The rainy weather provided a bit of a scheduling challenge for us, but fortunately the session took place before the little guy decided to make his arrival. We ended up being blessed with the most perfect day for the session and had amazing lighting. I am in love with the back-lighting we had at the end of the session. I loved capturing the bond between Krista and Scott as well as their daughter; they are so sweet together. Krista was glowing, and is as beautiful as ever with her little pregnant belly. She made my job so easy.















I cannot wait to meet this little man soon!

James & Chrissy || Wedding at St. Mary's Catholic Parish & Columbine Country Club

We had a great time photographing James & Chrissy's engagement session last year, so Scott and I were really looking forward to photographing their wedding this year. Their wedding was Cinderella inspired, and Chrissy had the ultimate Cinderella dress.



James & Chrissy decided to do the "behind the door" moment before their wedding. However, this church didn't have any doors without windows, so we improvised a bit, using a corner to keep the two hidden from one another. James & Chrissy also read letters that they had written to each other. I loved this idea, and it was such a sweet moment to witness.



St. Mary's Catholic Parish was a gorgeous church for their fairytale wedding. It is pretty rare to find a church with stained glass that also provides a beautiful light on the couple at the altar. Scott and I felt completely spoiled to photograph their ceremony in such perfect lighting.



















Pictures after the ceremony were taken on the greens at the Columbine Country Club.  This venue provided the perfect scenery for pictures of Chrissy and James.















Chrissy did such a great job tying everything together all the way through the end of the reception. There were so many little details were everywhere.

















Chrissy is a triplet, and you may recognize one of her brothers from his wedding that we photographed in 2011.
