Aaron & Ashley {wedding}

Aaron and Ashley's wedding has been highly anticipated for over a year. These two have been through more than anyone can imagine, and their strength is just incredible. Just about a year and a half ago, Ashley was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor. You can read a series of articles about Ashley's journey here, here and here.  Aaron and Ashley's relationship especially during this time was so inspiring. Scott and I have no doubt that their marriage will be a strong, lasting marriage.

There were so many beautiful details in this wedding.  And Ashley planned every detail perfectly.

Aaron and Ashley were married at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows.  This venue is gorgeous and the perfect venue for a fairy tale wedding.

Aaron and Ashley chose not to see each other before the ceremony, and decided to do some "behind the door" images instead of doing a "first look".  After getting ready, we brough Aaron over to the bridal suite, where Ashley was standing behind the door.  They both stood back to back with the door separating the two of them.  They were able to take each other's hand and talk a little bit prior to saying "I do".  This was such a special moment to witness.  This series of images are some of our favorites from the day.

There was not a dry eye in the room as Ashley walked down the aisle with her proud dad.

But nothing could beat the reaction from her groom waiting at the end of the aisle.

Their reception was such a celebration of the start of their new life together.

Aaron and Ashley even rented a Rolls Royce for their getaway car.

Aaron and Ashley, we could not be happier for the two of you.  Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous, but the love you have for each other is even more beautiful.  We wish you a lifetime of happiness, and pray God blesses the two of you abundantly.  As Jen said in her toast, there is nobody more deserving of a happily ever after than the two of you!  Congratulations!
