Chrissy & James | Engagement

Chrissy had such a great idea for her engagement session with her fiancé James. Since their wedding will have a little more of a girly theme, she wanted to do something for James for their engagement session that was a little less girly that he would enjoy as well. They decided on a fishing/outdoors theme. Scott and I thought that was the sweetest thing, and we think their images turned out perfectly.

After we did just a couple of shots of these two, it started pouring rain, so we had to retreat to our cars for a bit. We were a little nervous that the rest of their session would have to be rescheduled. However, the skies right after a rain storm provide the absolute best lighting a photographer could ask for. Thankfully the rain let up just a few minutes later, and we were blessed with gorgeous lighting for the remainder of their session.

These two are so sweet together, and we already cannot wait for their wedding next year! Congratulations on your engagement Chrissy and James!

Connie & Ryan | Engagement

Scott and I had such a great time photographing Connie & Ryan's Engagement session. Connie and Ryan decided to do their engagement session in the neighborhood where they first met, and ended their session at the Cherry Creek Reservoir which was just across the street. It was such a sentimental session, and was perfect for the two of them. We learned so much about them as a couple during this session.  It was so fun to capture the two of them in their element and the area where they first fell in love, talking over the fence to one another.  These two are perfect for each other all the way down to their love of math - it is adorable.  We already cannot wait for their wedding this fall in Vail.

Scott & Krista | Wedding

Scott and Krista had a gorgeous summer wedding surrounded by their family and friends. It was such a celebration, and Scott and I were so happy to have been a part of it. We had a wonderful time photographing their wedding day.

Scott and Krista's ceremony was at the Red Rocks Trading Post.  This venue is spectacular, and is simply gorgeous during the summer months especially.  The Red Rocks provided such a majestic backdrop for the ceremony.  They could not have picked a more perfect day for their wedding. The clouds provided a nice relief from the intense heat as well as gorgeous lighting and drama for their pictures.

We just loved how excited Krista was after being introduced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs.

We had such a great time with their bridal party.  They are all full of excitement and you could tell they all loved celebrating with the bride and groom on their marriage.

This couple was so easy going, and were enjoying every moment of their wedding day, in love with each other. It made them so easy to photograph. We got some incredible images of the two of them.

Scott and Krista held their reception at The Terrace Gardens Ken Caryl.  I have to say, I absolutely loved the details of the centerpieces.  So much sparkle!

Scott and Krista shared their first dance to the song "When I Say I Do" by .  If you don't know this song, you must listen to it right away.  This song is the perfect description of what a Christian marriage is.

Scott and Krista, it was such an honor to photograph your wedding day.  We are so happy for the two of you and your marriage.  We know God has an amazing plan for the two of you and we pray that God blesses your family greatly.  We are sure the two of you will have a lifetime of happiness together.  Congratulations!

Brian & Natalie | Wedding

Natalie and Brian were married and held their reception at Holy Name Catholic Church.

Natalie and Brian had been looking forward to their wedding day for quite some time, and you could tell they enjoyed every moment of their special day.

Scott and I absolutely love stained glass in old churches. It provides such beautiful ceremony images.

Right next to Holy Name Catholic Church, there was the most gorgeous field with several crosses that provided the perfect backdrop for some gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom.

Brian and Natalie had quite the reception, and everyone celebrated and partied into the night. All of their guests had a blast.

Brian and Natalie, thank you for choosing Scott and I to be a part of your special wedding day. We pray God blesses your marriage and you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
