Chris & Becca | Wedding at Hudson Gardens

Chris and Becca are one of the sweetest and most fun loving couples we have worked with. They are both so loving with one another, and so expressive. It was a joy to photograph their wedding day, and the love that they share.

Chris & Becca decided to do a different variation of a "first look" before their ceremony.  Becca wanted to be able to see Chris and give him a kiss before the ceremony, but not let him see her.  Chris was blindfolded, and the two of them were able to talk and be near one another before they said "I do".

Their wedding and reception was held at The Inn, at Hudson Gardens and Event Center. This venue is just perfect for an evening wedding. The lighting that comes through the area is gorgeous and creates the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony.

Chris and Becca incorporated a "wine ceremony" into their wedding ceremony. It is such an interesting and elegant twist to the traditional unity candle, or unity sand.

The two of them walked back up the aisle with their precious little girl in tow. Their love for this little girl is so sweet to see. It is evident that their daughter is their world.

After the ceremony, the sunset created the most beautiful glow for their formal pictures around the gardens. Hudson Gardens simply cannot be beat for it's beautiful backdrops. Anywhere you are in the gardens provides the perfect atmosphere for pictures of the bride and groom. Chris and Becca were incredibly easy to work with, and we just love the series of photos we captured.

The reception was such a celebration of Chris & Becca's life together.

We loved that they even incorporated a "father-daughter" dance for Chris and their baby girl.

When it was time for the garter toss, the "ESPN Monday Night Football" theme began to play, and Chris put the garter on a football with his best man before tossing it to all the single guys.  We just love the shot Scott got of the best man making the perfect catch!

One of the guests brought fake mustaches to the reception, and it was hilarious to see everyone wearing them and dancing around.

Chris and Becca, we are so thankful we had the opportunity to meet the two of you and photograph your wedding day. You two are such genuine people, and we know you will have a lasting marriage. We pray your journey together is always full of as much love and laughter as there was on your wedding day. You are raising such a beautiful daughter, and we cannot wait to see how your family grows. Congratulations!

Aww! They are such a lovely couple. It’s beautiful how they look at each other. This wedding looks perfect and this place looks like one of the venues in Chicago where I got married. Anyways, the photographer has captured every moment beautifully.
