Brad & Mariah {wedding}

Scott and I photographed Brad and Mariah's engagement session earlier this summer.  They are such a fun couple, and we had been looking forward to their fall wedding this year.

Brad and Mariah were married at South Suburban Christian Church.

I absolutely love the father/daughter moments right before the bride comes down the aisle.  I tear up way too much if I am at the back of the church with the bride, and Scott captures these moments perfectly.

We knew when we met them for their session that they were a perfect pair.  They balance each other perfectly, it is just so fun to watch them together.

The reception was held at Brad's mother's house.  Because of the cold weather that came through the morning of the wedding, they actually had to shovel snow off of the lawn.  It actually reminded me of scenes from "Father of the Bride" where they used a hairdryer to thaw out flowers and brought in heaters for the tents. But regardless of the winter-like weather, Mariah and Brad's family transformed their backyard into a beautiful reception area.

These two had their first dance to the romantic Etta James classic, "At Last".  It was a beautiful way to end the evening.

Brad & Mariah, we wish you all the best in the years ahead as husband and wife! We pray your marriage is blessed. Congratulations!
