Aaron & Ashley {wedding}

Aaron and Ashley's wedding has been highly anticipated for over a year. These two have been through more than anyone can imagine, and their strength is just incredible. Just about a year and a half ago, Ashley was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor. You can read a series of articles about Ashley's journey here, here and here.  Aaron and Ashley's relationship especially during this time was so inspiring. Scott and I have no doubt that their marriage will be a strong, lasting marriage.

There were so many beautiful details in this wedding.  And Ashley planned every detail perfectly.

Aaron and Ashley were married at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows.  This venue is gorgeous and the perfect venue for a fairy tale wedding.

Aaron and Ashley chose not to see each other before the ceremony, and decided to do some "behind the door" images instead of doing a "first look".  After getting ready, we brough Aaron over to the bridal suite, where Ashley was standing behind the door.  They both stood back to back with the door separating the two of them.  They were able to take each other's hand and talk a little bit prior to saying "I do".  This was such a special moment to witness.  This series of images are some of our favorites from the day.

There was not a dry eye in the room as Ashley walked down the aisle with her proud dad.

But nothing could beat the reaction from her groom waiting at the end of the aisle.

Their reception was such a celebration of the start of their new life together.

Aaron and Ashley even rented a Rolls Royce for their getaway car.

Aaron and Ashley, we could not be happier for the two of you.  Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous, but the love you have for each other is even more beautiful.  We wish you a lifetime of happiness, and pray God blesses the two of you abundantly.  As Jen said in her toast, there is nobody more deserving of a happily ever after than the two of you!  Congratulations!

David & Janessa {Engagement}

We met up with David and Janessa on a perfect wintery day.  There was beautiful snow on the ground, yet the temperature stayed reasonably warm enough for us until the sun set.

David and Janessa are perfect for each other.  These two even share their love of aviation.  It is great watching David and Janessa interact; they have so much fun together and Scott and I were laughing their entire session.

Scott and I enjoyed the lighting at this park.  It provided for some incredible back-lit images as the sun set.

Congratulatons David and Janessa on your engagement!  We are already looking forward to your wedding!

Hayden {6 Months}

I absolutely love watching all of the little ones grow in our "Baby Steps" series. It is so much fun watching these little babies change. I could hardly believe it was already time for Hayden's 6 month session this fall. Hayden was just as precious and happy as she was in her 3 month session, but she is developing such a fun personality.  She is just full of giggles and smiles!  I already cannot wait to see Hayden again for her 12 month session!

Dave & Rita {Fall Portraits}

This fall we had the honor of photographing a fall session for my adorable parents.  We photographed this gorgeous fall session at Hudson Gardens.  We were all amazed at the gorgeous golden colors this year.  We lucked out and got the last of the fall colors for their session since it snowed just a few days later.

After 28 years of marriage, my parents are still so in love, and it is so inspiring.  It was an honor for Scott and I to capture their love and provide them with some gorgeous images.

Erik & Bre {Fall Portraits}

Last week we headed up to Red Rocks for a fall portrait session with Erik and Bre.  Red Rocks is always such a great place for portrait sessions - there is so much variety at this location.

Scott and I had a great time with Erik and Bre during their session.  Scott and I feel so blessed that we get to photograph such great people.  It is such a joy to have fun with our clients while photographing them.

Erik and Bre are adorable together and were wonderful to photograph. We got some beautiful shots, and I think their love for one another is evident in each image.
