Fall Family Portraits

This past weekend we photographed such a fun family in the fall colors. While the colors weren't as golden as we had hoped, we got some amazing shots of the family! We were laughing through out their entire session.

Cyndi & James {wedding}

Cyndi and James held their wedding ceremony and reception at Christie's of Genesee. This is such a beautiful venue, with some amazing places to take pictures in the surrounding area. James' mother did Cyndi's hair and make-up, as well as created all of the beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres; she did such a great job! Cyndi and James are such a fun couple. You could tell they enjoyed every minute of their day. Cyndi could not stop smiling, and James couldn't take his eyes off of her.

Nichole & Casey {wedding}

Nichole and Casey were married and held their reception at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows, soon after Casey returned from his service in Afghanistan. It is so neat to watch a couple that has made it through such a trying experience, and was great to be a part of their wedding day. This is such a gorgeous venue, and Nichole and Casey had a beautiful wedding here. The amazing flowers were provided by Sue of Kimball Floral, and the incredible cake was provided Elyse of Icing, Etc. All of the details came together perfectly!

Mindy & Chris {engagement}

Mindy and Chris are such an adorable and fun-loving couple. They are the most adventurous and brave couple we have photographed. These two were willing to climb trees and wade through a river greater than knee deep; both times while Mindy was wearing a dress. These acts of bravery are always worth it, and Mindy and Chris' pictures prove it. They are getting married in December, and we can hardly wait to photograph their wedding!

Family Session

Erin contacted me months ago about surprising her mom with mother-daughter pictures for her Mother's Day gift. I thought she had such a great idea. The first image is a pose that her and her mom have done several times since Erin was just a little girl and I was honored to add another one to their collection!

We also got some wonderful shots of Erin with her husband, Dustin, for their one year anniversary. They were so adorable and even wore their wedding colors for the session!

Sarah & Austin {wedding}

Sarah and Austin had such a beautiful wedding. The ceremony and reception were both held at Chatfield Botanic Gardens. This venue provided the an elegant, yet laid back atmosphere for their wedding and fit their personalities perfectly. Unfortunately, it rained pretty hard earlier in the day, but then the weather cleared up and was absolutely gorgeous for the ceremony and the rest of the evening. Even with the rain, Sarah and Austin never stopped smiling. We were blessed with some incredible lighting after the rain, and got some amazing shots!

Sarah and Austin are so in love, and we could not be happier for them! Congratulations Sarah & Austin!
