Engagement of Sarah & Austin

Sarah and Austin have got to be one of the most adorable couples ever. Their love for each other is so sweet and sincere, we couldn't help but smile the entire time we were shooting their session. It was incredibly difficult to choose my favorites from their session. Sarah and Austin will be getting married at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens this July, and we are so excited to photograph their wedding.

Wedding of Suzannah & Neal

Suzannah and Neal were married at Bethany Church. They had such a fun and unique ceremony and reception that truly fit both of their personalities. Our favorite detail was definitely their bride and groom penguin cake topper. Congratulations Suzannah and Neal!

2009 Photo of the Year Contest

Last year we had the honor to photograph some amazing people and events. Because we are able to capture so many special moments, we decided to start an annual tradition of choosing the best image of the year. We have chosen our top ten favorite images of this year. We need your help to decide the overall best photo of the year for 2009.

The winner of the 2009 Photo of the Year will receive the winning image as a a mounted 11x14 print as well as the high resolution image on CD ($135 value).

In order to cast your vote, please leave a comment at the end of this post with the image number you think should win. Voting will continue through midnight on Sunday, February 21st, and winners will be announced on our blog by Tuesday, February 23rd. Only one vote per person will be counted.

Wedding of Michael & Kindra

Mike and Kindra's winter wedding was one of the most exciting and joyful weddings we have been able to shoot.  Kindra is definitely one of the most expressive brides out there; being able to capture the emotion of their special day was an honor.  Our favorite detail from their wedding was the flower girl and ring bearer heading back up the aisle for the recessional in a mini corvette that said "Just Married" on the back.  Congratulations Mike and Kindra!

David & Ashley

We went down to Denver with David and Ashley for a fun portrait session to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. They are such an adorable couple! We all had a blast and we got away with some amazing shots, in spite of the incredibly freezing weather!
